Bernolákovo, Slovak Republic
The first 9-hole golf course in modern Slovak history was built in a chateau park.
The 9-hole golf course design marked the beginning of cooperation between Libor Jirásek and Miroslav Marynčák and became their first completed joint project.
The golf course was designed and built in a chateau park that once belonged to Count Esterházy and became the first golf course in the modern history of Slovakia.
The original layout of the park-situated golf course offered convenient conditions for a thought provoking game of golf. However, the newly reconstructed 18-hole course share only a few common ideas with the original golf course arrangement.
